The following yearbook “Housing (Mortgage) Loan Market in Russia” (hereinafter – the yearbook) is statistical annuary of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (the Bank of Russia). The yearbook contains statistical data on the primary and the secondary housing (mortgage) loan markets in Russia for the period from 2019 to 2023. The yearbook comprises data from the Bank of Russia, the Federal State Statistics Service and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadaster and Cartography, “DOM.RF”. The published information contains total data on the Russian Federation, and breakdown by subjects of the Russian Federation and federal districts as well. The data on autonomous areas is represented separately for each autonomous area, and in the structure of subjects of the Russian Federation, to which they relate. The yearbook includes data on the number of credit institutions, which conduct operations on housing (mortgage) loan market; information on housing loans (mortgage loans / mortgage loans against the pledge of claims under share construction participation agreements) granted by credit institutions to resident individuals in rubles and foreign currency; data on volumes and sources of early repayment and assignment of claim under mortgage loans (rights of claim under mortgage loans), and also there are macroeconomic indices and socio-economic indicators.
