The catalog has been compiled by experts of the Bank of Russia and historians. Its first part is devoted to the Russian banknotes and coins of regular issues, and covers the systematized data on national paper money and coin issues from 1843-1997 patterns. Color images of main paper money patterns and references to the legal regulations concerning their issue and withdrawal from the circulation are given. The second part of the catalog contains data on commemorative, jubilee, and investment coins of the Russian Empire, the USSR, and the Russian Federation. Color images of coins are presented, along with names of issues, mintage figures, basic technical details of coins, and the names of artists and sculptors, as well as mints are all listed.
